Selki Security Dashboard – User Guide

Overview

The Security Dashboard provides a real-time overview of your organization’s security posture in Selki. It consolidates key metrics—such as active threats, watcher health, vulnerabilities, and security-awareness results—into a single page so you can quickly assess risk and take action. The dashboard is currently marked Beta, so you may encounter minor changes as the feature evolves.

Getting Started

Log in to Selki

Navigate to dashboard.selki.io in your browser and enter your login credentials. Once authenticated, you will land on the default Threats page.

Open the Dashboard

Click the dashboard icon in the left-hand navigation bar (under the Monitoring section). This opens the Security Dashboard:

Tip: If you don’t see the navigation labels, hover over the icons or click the menu button to expand the full menu.

Summary Cards

At the top of the page you’ll see four colored cards showing high-level metrics. Each card is clickable and will take you to the corresponding detailed view.

Card

Description

What it Means

Active Threats

Displays the number of threats that require immediate attention. Shows current vs. total threats.

Click this card to open the Threats page to investigate each issue.

Watcher Monitoring

Shows the percentage of watchers (automated monitors) that are currently operational.

100% means all watchers are working. Less indicates watchers need attention.

Vulnerabilities

Indicates how many known vulnerabilities are currently open.

If > 0, visit the Vulnerabilities page to review and resolve them.

Security Awareness

Summarizes exposed users vs. total users in awareness training.

Helps gauge whether additional training is required.

Navigating the Dashboard

The left-hand vertical navigation bar organizes Selki features by category:

  • Monitoring: Dashboard, Threats, Vulnerabilities, Watchers
  • Phishing: User Groups, Templates, Campaigns
  • Reporting: Smart Reports
  • Integrations: API Keys, API Docs, Webhooks
  • Support: Get Help

Navigation Tips

  • Click a summary card or View All link to explore a specific area.

Example: Clicking Active Threats opens the Threats page with active filters applied.

  • Use search and filters within each section to narrow results.
  • Click the dashboard icon at any time to return to the dashboard.

Interpreting Metrics

Understanding dashboard values helps prioritize your work:

  • Total vs. Current: A ratio like 3,422 / 18,278 means 3,422 items require attention out of 18,278 total.
  • Color Coding:
  • Red = Urgent (e.g., critical threats)
  • Green = Healthy (e.g., watchers working normally)
  • Risk Levels:
  • Items marked High or Medium risk should be prioritized.

This graph provides a quick overview of how many threats were found each month during the past year. Any threats that have been closed will also be displayed, so you can get an immediate comparison into the total number of threats found versus how many were closed. The current month is always the last value on the x axis and is always whatever the current year is.
