Email Templates

Selki provides built-in phishing simulation templates designed to help organizations safely train their employees to recognize and respond to social engineering attacks. These templates are available to all users, while the ability to create custom templates is exclusive to Pro Plan users.

Default Templates

All Selki accounts come with five pre-configured email templates that simulate realistic phishing threats. These include:

• Human Resources Impersonation – e.g. “Pending Payroll Update”
• Microsoft 365 Impersonation – e.g. “Suspicious Sign-in Alert”
• Suspicious Login Activity – e.g. “Confirm Recent Login”
• Workplace Climate Survey – e.g. “Internal HR Survey Invitation”
• HR Purchase Confirmation – e.g. “Your subscription to PeoplePlus has been confirmed”

Each template is ready to use and includes a subject line, email body, and optional attachments to make the simulation as realistic as possible.

Custom Templates (Pro Plan Only)

If you're on the Pro Plan, you’ll have access to the Create Template button. This unlocks advanced customization options, including:

• Custom subject lines
• Editable HTML and plaintext email content
• Logo and brand styling
• Variable placeholders like:
• • {{.FirstName}}, {{.LastName}}, {{.Email}}
  • {{.URL}} for phishing redirection
  • {{.TrackingURL}} and {{.Tracker}} for monitoring engagement

These variables automatically personalize each email to the recipient, making your simulations more effective and targeted.

🎯 Tip: Use {{.From}} and {{.BaseURL}} to simulate common spoofing tactics.

Status and Management

• Templates show a status of "Ready" once finalized.
• You can clone, edit, or delete templates directly from the detail view.
• Use sorting and filtering options to organize templates by update date or name.
