Miscellaneous Platform Settings
Navigating the Top-Right User Controls in the Selki Platform
The top-right corner of the Selki dashboard contains essential controls for personalizing your experience, managing your account, and accessing key settings.
This article explains what each icon does and how to use them effectively.
1. Light/Dark Mode Toggle
The first icon (a screen) allows you to switch between light and dark themes depending on your preference or environment.
- Click once to toggle.
- Your selection is saved for future sessions.
- Helpful for reducing eye strain or improving visibility based on lighting.
2. Language Selector
Located just beside the theme toggle, this icon shows your current language setting (e.g., EN for English).
Supported Languages:
- 🇬🇧 English (EN)
- 🇪🇸 Spanish (ES)
- 🇧🇷 Portuguese – Brazil (PT-BR)
Clicking the icon opens a dropdown menu where you can change your language. Changes apply instantly across the platform.
🌍 Ideal for multilingual teams or regional users.
3. Notifications
The bell icon shows unread notifications or important platform updates.
- Click to open the notification panel.
- See messages about newly detected threats, export completions, or system alerts.
- Alerts are organized by date for easy tracking.
🔔 If the bell has a dot or highlight, it means you have unread notifications.
4. Account Settings & Profile Menu
The last icon on the far right shows your initials (e.g., AF for Alex Farrell) and serves as your account menu.
Clicking it opens a dropdown like this:
Menu Options:
- My Profile
View or update your personal info, change your password, and manage preferences.
- Downloads
Quickly access your previously exported threat data and reports.
- Sign Out
Securely log out of the Selki platform.
Tip: Always sign out when using a shared or public computer.
